Buchtel Alumni Celebrate Thanksgiving Weekend with Annual Scholarship Fundraiser
(AKRON, OH) --The Buchtel High School Alumni 13th Annual Turkey Day Jam - All Class Reunion will be Saturday, November 29 2008 from 8:00 p.m. until 1 :00 a.m. at the John S. Knight Center , 77 E. Mill Street (downtown) Akron , Ohio.
This year's entertainment includes Gospel selections by the Buchtel Alumni Mass Choir led by Benjamin Drone, Special Guest Performances by National Recording Artists; Howard Hewett (c/o 74), Blake Carrington (c/o 88) with special guest appearances by Kym Sellers WZAK on air personality (c/o 84) and Leland Jones (c/o 82) from the movie "The Gospel" and Tyler Perry's "House of Payne". Music for the evening will be provided by DJ Pearl Jam.
Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Guests must be 21 years old and over with proper attire. Tickets are available at Graffitti Print Shop ( 739 N. Main Street ) from now until Wednesday, November 26. Henry's Acme (Hawkins Plaza), and Sidney Ryan, Inc. (2086 Romig Road) will have pre-sale tickets available from now until Friday, November 28.
There will be a special opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets at Buchtel High School (1040 Copley Road ) Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. during the Community Health Fair and 13th Annual Alumni Turkey Day Flag Football Classic. Refreshments will be served.

Hello everyone I am so sorry I forget to post this up coming event. It will be our 5th Annual dance and it will be held at Spann Hall Auditorium on Nov. 21, 2008 starting at 10pm and ending at 3am. Music by DJ Swan. Tickets are $25 and there will be no tickets sold at the door. If anyone is interested hit me up and let me know I have tickets avaliable, But not for long! Trust me everyone who has attended in the past will be attending again and they always seem to bring friends! So let me know as I said tickets sell fast.
The Masquerade Ball for 2008 is just a few short days away. If you haven't purchased your tickets, time's a wasting. Just added - Comedian Sinck and The Mad Stuntman "I Like To Move It Move It" will be performing live at our event.

There will be a Master Mason's degree on October 28th @ Jonesport Lodge #188 in Jonesport, ME with a 6:00 P.M. supper and degree work starting at 7:00 P.M..
"All in the Family Gatherings"
These events are a way to foster Fraternal Relations between members of ALL the masonic organizations. There are going to be 6 gatherings across the state of Pennsylvania. They are in:
Williamsport (OCT 26), Altoona (NOV 2), Erie (NOV 23), Elizabethtown (FEB 1), Pittsburgh (MAR 1), Dallas (MAR 22).
If you would like more info I have contact numbers of those who are organizing the events. There will be a church service, a light lunch, info booths, demos, craft tables, and members dressed in full regalia. These events are open to those who are members of any organizations as well as coworkers, neighbors, friends, family, etc... Those who are seekeing membership are welcome to come.
