Greeting Brothers and Sisters
Hello and thank you all for reading this letter. As you may know, many of us have been speaking about presenting a Joint Masonic function that would include all Masons and Eastern Stars, regardless of Jurisdiction or Order. The purpose of this function is to promote positive and fruitful relationships amongst all Masonic Peoples in Atlanta and the surrounding area. We would like to begin mass fellowship with a Joint St. John's Day celebration this year on June 28. I am asking that all members of every Jurisdiction participate and respectfully request that you receive permission and blessings from the leadership of your organization to allow this event to take place.
A location has been chosen (1111 Hightower Raod, Atlanta, GA, New Fellowship of Praise) that will house approximately 500 people hold this event.
This celebration will allow space for dignitaries to have a place of honor, i.e. (members of the Great Nine, Supreme Council, Active Grand Masters and Grand Matrons). It will also include a place of distinction for all Past Masters/Matrons and sitting Worshipful Masters/Worthy Matrons.
Full uniform and regalia is required. A trophy will be
presented to the Jurisdiction with the most members present.
Upon the completion of the celebration, we will adjourn to a
suitable location and have a good old fashion Sunday dinner
together. Please bring annual calendars, information
concerning your order, any items that you sell for fundraisers
to be distributed among the entire Craft. A professional
photographer will be present to take a panoramic photo of all
present that will be given to each Grand Master/ Matron in
commemoration of this event. Individual Lodge and Chapters
photos can be taken and purchased for your historical
documentation.
